Music Piece with Visualization.
Microsoft Songsmith is a weird little program that automatically generates a cheesy-sounding musical accompaniment to fit any melody you hum or whistle. But Johannes Kreidler put Songsmith to a whole new use: he fed it, as melody data, the share prices of Lehman Brothers, General Motors, Bank of America and other companies. The result is a soundtrack of the global economic crisis, composed by running financial graphs through SongSmith.
